At Equator, everything revolves around connection, empowerment, and change.
Our work rests on three pillars that together inspire young people worldwide to take action.

Sharing stories about today’s world
Through our online platform, young people enter into dialogue — across the Equator and across borders.
They film their daily lives: their village, their classroom, their dreams. They share what moves them and listen to the stories of others — from Bolivia to Belgium.
Themes like climate change, inequality and migration emerge directly from their everyday reality. These stories link to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and inspire both reflection and action.
On an interactive world map, young people explore each other’s videos and respond. This creates a digital exchange filled with curiosity, recognition, and solidarity.

Local engagement with tangible impact
Equator not only facilitates online exchanges, but also supports projects on the ground. Together with local partners, we develop initiatives that strengthen young people — from providing audiovisual equipment to creating learning spaces, running creative workshops, or building a school garden.

Thanks to donations, collaborations, and educational initiatives, we make lasting change possible where it truly matters.

Learning together, across borders
Equator connects primary and secondary schools with partner schools elsewhere in the world.
Together, they work on shared themes, exchange stories, and build bridges — sometimes literally, often figuratively.
We call them Twin Schools: classrooms that learn, think, and feel together.
In other projects, young people also join actions or encounters that broaden their perspective and expand their world.
Equator is not a one-way street.
It is a circle of exchange, awareness, and action.
We invite schools, teachers, youth organisations, and NGOs worldwide to join this network.
Because together, we can truly make a difference — voice by voice, story by story.
